Shipping policy

 


Effective 1 January 2026

This Shipping and Delivery Policy applies to all orders placed with Uprising Glassware through our online store. It covers both retail and wholesale purchases. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.



Order Processing and Dispatch

All orders are processed within 24-48 hours of payment confirmation and shipped from our warehouse in Melbourne, Australia.

During peak periods including sales events, holidays, or product launches, dispatch times may be extended. Any significant delays will be communicated where possible.

Once an order has been handed over to the delivery carrier, responsibility for monitoring the delivery and tracking it passes to the customer.



Shipping Coverage

  • We ship to Australian addresses only.
  • We do ship to PO Boxes.

Wholesale PO Box Notice
Some wholesale orders ship via courier services that do not deliver to PO Boxes. If you are placing a large wholesale order and require delivery to a PO Box, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm the available options.



Shipping Rates and GST

  • All shipping rates are calculated automatically at checkout based on order weight and destination.
  • Shipping costs are displayed in full before payment is completed.
  • All prices, including shipping, are GST inclusive for both retail and wholesale orders.



Free Shipping

  • Retail orders over $140 automatically qualify for free shipping.
  • Wholesale orders are excluded from this offer and will have applicable shipping rates displayed at checkout.



Shipping Methods and Delivery Timeframes

Customers can select from the following delivery options at checkout. We select specific carriers, which are not shown during checkout.

Standard Delivery
Estimated delivery time: 4 to 10 business days after dispatch

Express Delivery
Estimated delivery time: 2 to 5 business days after dispatch

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on location, carrier operations, and external factors beyond our control.



Delivery Handling

Retail Orders

  • Retail orders are shipped with Authority to Leave.
  • If no one is available at the delivery address, parcels will be left in a safe location as determined by the carrier.
  • Once marked as delivered, responsibility transfers to the customer.

Wholesale Orders

  • Wholesale orders require a signature on delivery.
  • If no one is available to sign, the parcel will be taken to the nearest post office or courier depot for collection within the carrier's nominated timeframe.
  • If a wholesale order is returned to us due to incorrect address details or failure to collect within the allowed timeframe, the customer will be charged:
    • A restocking fee, and
    • Additional shipping costs to resend the order.



Delivery Delays

We work closely with our delivery partners to ensure timely delivery. However, delays can occur due to circumstances outside our control, including weather events, peak periods, or carrier network disruptions.

If your order is delayed beyond the estimated delivery timeframe, please use your tracking details to contact the carrier in the first instance.

Stock Availability

Products are not made available for purchase if they are out of stock.
In the rare event that an item becomes unavailable due to circumstances outside our control after an order is placed, we will contact you to offer:

  • A full refund, or
  • The option to wait for restock where applicable.



Damage, Lost, or Stolen Parcels

If your order arrives damaged, or if your parcel appears to be lost or stolen in transit, contact us within 30 days of your delivery date at returns@uprisingglassware.com.au with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos of the item and packaging where applicable

We will assess each case and work with you to find a resolution, which may include a replacement or refund depending on the circumstances.

Please retain all original packaging until the matter is resolved.

We do not accept claims submitted outside the 30-day window from delivery.



Satisfaction Guarantee and Returns

If you are not happy with your order for any reason, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a replacement or refund. Items must be unused and in their original condition.

To start a return, contact us at returns@uprisingglassware.com.au with your order number and we will guide you through the process.

Returns, restocking fees, and full refund eligibility are also covered in our separate Returns Policy, which should be read in conjunction with this policy.



Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available to retail customers under Australian Consumer Law.



Policy Updates

Uprising Glassware reserves the right to update or amend this policy at any time. Changes will take effect from the published effective date.
